Baška in the second half of the 20th century

Baška in the second half of the 20th century

Klonimir Seršić was a pioneer of aviation and a globetrotter who had captured a lot of his travels on film. He was awarded several times for his extraordinary military service, and even received an award for years of service at the JAT Yugoslav Airlines. He was also an avid photographer and videographer, and spent decades regularly photographing and filming various summer, cultural, and entertainment events as well as everyday lives of the inhabitants of Baška, creating an extensive personal archive of images from Baška’s recent history.

Near the end of his life, Klonimir gifted his archive to the town, and the Šoto Cultural Society digitalized it, making it available to the public and saving it from obscurity. Some of the materials will be screened during the festival in Mrgarić and shown on the screens in various bars and restaurants across Baška for the duration of the festival.
