Reading of the picture book “Rabid Flegi”
How can we introduce children to the important topic of responsible behavior toward animals in a fun, warm, and understandable way? Through Flegi, of course!
As part of the Black Sheep Festival, an educational reading session and creative workshop will be held for children aged 5 to 10, inspired by the picture book about everyone’s favorite dog, Flegi.
This year, Flegi and his friend Viki meet a fox and face an important question: what should we do when our beloved pet encounters a rabid animal? Through Flegi's and Viki's adventure, children will learn why vaccination is important and what caring for their own pet and animals in shelters looks like.
After the reading, young participants will have the opportunity to express their creativity by making small houses to represent homes for abandoned animals. Each kid will receive a picture book as a gift!
The program is organized by the Coordination Working Group for Animal Protection of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (KRAS), with the support of the County, and all activities are free of charge.
