The little sheep will learn to use the Glagolitic script at the St. Lucia Complex
Great fun awaits all elementary school students wanting to uncover the secrets of the old Croatian Glagolitic script.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, starting at 11:45 AM, in the renovated part of the Abbey of St. Lucia, where the most important monument containing an inscription in the Glagolitic script was found. Our magical adventure will last between 45 and 60 minutes, and the lambkins will be shown the basics of the Glagolitic alphabet and taught some interesting facts about the history and culture of this old script. Since 2003, the Abbey of St. Lucia has been hosting Glagolitic Schools, i.e. Glagolitic literacy courses. Workshop attendance is limited to 40 children.
